The location was just right, for exploring Venice. Rudi met us off the waterbus and was extremely helpful showing us the way and many the many shops and restaurants. He gave us excellent advice! showed us how everything worked. The accommodation was very clean, with comfy beds and lovely bed sheets, extra blankets were available and we needed them on the cold February nights. The accommodation was well-heated, with plenty of hot water and lovely soft towels. The rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor with lots of steep steps but this was ok for us!

The apartment is in a fantastic location and the owner is highly organised with communication and management of this place. His assistant Florence met us, as arranged, and explained everything in detail. The apartment is well-equipped, very clean and comfortable for 4-6 people with generous rooms and comfortable beds. The roof terrace is large with an excellent shade. For me it makes a huge difference to have a good outside space to relax and eat in but too often on this trip I found descriptions did not match reality. This is one of the few places I have stayed in the last two weeks that gives a genuine description of the property. The air conditioning, and all other facilities provided, worked very well. Nothing was broken or not working, nothing disappointed. I thoroughly recommend Ca Rossa.
