Location was nice if you want to be a bit away from the mad rush. It was still within close walking distance to all the sights.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Venice. In a city that has so many visitors it would be easy for hospitality to be robotic, however the welcome was as if we were the first ever guests. The sense of feeling at home and being made to feel so welcome in a beautiful, historic building will stay with us. It’s quiet and yet close to everywhere with excellent recommendations and help.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the bus station and easy to walk into the rest of Venice or to catch a vaporetto. The hotel is clean with air-conditioning which was very welcome. Kate provided us with a map and information on how to get around as it was our first visit to Venice. Anything we needed was provided.
