The room was spacious, atmospheric and had everything you needed. The wall by the bed was fabulously decorated by a local artist with a large clay art work, which, along with the delicately decorated side columns and wooden beams ceiling, kept the room in synch with traditional Venice. The frosted glass of the shower panel happens to be part of the room's wall, next to the bed: through this, the coloured neon lights shown through to the bedroom: this added a lovely dimmed lighting atmosphere to the room at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a choice of soft and firmer pillows and plenty of hanging space. The shower room was spacious and modern, yet again the choice of tiles made it still feel traditional.

Unfortunately, the aircon was not working which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The location was good but the reception is not on location. I did attempt to contact them however I wasn’t able to. When checking in, the staff were lovely though it was just an issue of amenities.

The room was quite basic but was clean. We had everything we needed in there. However there was no way of regulating the temperature in the room so even though we visited at the end of March, during the night we were very warm but couldn’t have the window open due to mosquitoes.
