Vellano is a beautiful hilltop town in walking distance. There is a lovely wooded walk to the shop. Fireflies in the evening, lovely pool, peaceful and private, modern inside but with character. Listening to the church bells across the valley as the sun went down. A deer wandered into the garden. Very well equipped.

WOW what a place! We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at this villa. The house is tucked in a beautiful, quiet location with the most amazing views over the Tuscan hills. The house itself is very well appointed with lovely bedrooms and clean bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for family cooking and there was also a smart TV and a tennis table outside. The pool was an absolute delight! We loved spending time here, there were plenty of sun loungers to relax and the pool was beautifully kept, immaculately clean and with a beautiful garden around it. The local restaurant in the village was superb and the staff were very welcoming, the food was delicious and well-priced. Florence and Lucca are worth a visit, on the train from Pescia about 20 mins drive way. We would highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a relaxing, authentic Italian holiday! It was a very special, enjoyable and memorable stay.
