Cosy and clean room with skylight windows directly by the park - if you leave the windows open, you hear woodpeckers in the trees. Was looking forward to the Delicious Breakfast every morning. The friendly staff speak English and some of them also German. Penzion Kastiel is located close to everything in Veľký Krtíš - Swimming pool is on the opposite side of the road, City Center, Kaufland and the Park are in walking distance. Modry Kamen with famous castle is 3 km away, Hungarian Border 20 km.

The overall level of accommodation services reached the qualitative level of a hotel and not just a boarding house thanks to the equipment, quality and choice of breakfast, friendliness and care of the staff.

The size of the room was excellent, a lot of place to put your things, an older but comfy couch to sit on. Breakfast was served in a clean and nice room, the dishes were varied. In the evening we had a plumbing issue, the WC was clogged, but the staff was helpful and they solved the problem immediately.
