We had an amazing time in Vela Luka, which this apartment had a lot of to do with! Anita was one of the best hosts we have encountered so far, very friendly and helpful. Even though we came quite late with short notice (ferry delayed), she came in few minutes to show us inside. There were some fresh figs, vine and snacks waiting for us, which gave us great first impression! She was always on phone when needed, but other than that left us complete privacy, which we value. The apartment itself was the best accommodation we could imagine in this price range. Very modern and clean, but also humble and cozy, carefully decorated with colorful paintings and cute statues/decorations. Very spacious, felt even larger due to high ceiling up to the roof and big roll-door to the terrace with the front-row view of sea and harbor. The facilities included everything you expect/have at home and more, so we could easily imagine renting this place long-term. There was a private bathroom in each bedroom, plus one more toilet (with washing machine) next to the entrance, which we made use of when we had friends over for a dinner. Very private and classy! The big terrace with grill, outdoor kitchen and loungers is just a cherry on top, and made the accommodation perfect. Due to the position on the most upper floor of the 3 apartments, it was definitely the most private one, with the best view! It was really hard to leave for our planned trips when you have such a place at "home". :) This terrace is definitely something we will remember and if we ever come back to Vela Luka, will surely contact Anita first! Parking situation and overall location was great as well. Closest small groceries are 8mins walk, better bigger ones like 10-12mins. Maybe better to use car for this purpose. City center is 15-20mins walk around the bay, so for non-walkers we recommend using boat-taxi which has station close to the apartment. We definitely recommend and wish we could stay longer :)
