Woofta “An Enjoyable Christmas Stay”

We stayed at Fågelbro Säteri for one night in early December, with spa access and julbord. It was an extremely rainy weekend, so walking on the property was not possible, but it looked a really charming place. We had a dog and our dog-friendly room was lovely- clean, generous space both room and bathroom. Nice furniture, comfortable bed, well lit and a dog bed, treats and water bowl was provided. The TV in the room didn't work, but they did try to fix it. It wasn't a problem for us though. The spa was small with not enough lounge chairs for the number of people. There were two saunas, not very hot, and the outdoor pool was refreshing. The spa was a bit disappointing but maybe with less people, it would be okay. The hotel itself has a modern and old-worldly feel and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, despite a full house for the julbord. A good selection of cold and hot dishes were served with an Italian flavour. The candy room was also quite special with cakes, cheeses and sweets. The breakfast was excellent and we recommend the Värmdö apple must. There are bottles of this beverage for sale as well.

The location is absolutely brilliant – quiet, harmonious, and idyllic. We’ve stayed at the hotrl a few times and not only the location but also the beautifully thought-through interior design keeps bringing us back. Each time, we also enjoy the spa facilities. There’s something special about relaxing in the large warm pool, almost like a hot tub, while overlooking the hotel’s stunning surroundings. The breakfast is another highlight, always something we look forward to during our stays. The staff there is always smiling and friendly.
