Anmol is a lovely host, he has been super helpful with all kind of enquires! The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is incredible. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

The stay is vey cozy and rooms are neat and clean. It is at walkable distance from Varkala beach.Got covered parking for the car. The host, Anmol, gave good recommendations about the places to visit. Overall a great stay in Varkala.

My friend and I stayed at shamak homestay during our visit to Varkala for 3 days. It was truly a great experience! The host anmol was extremely hospitable. He also made some delicious breakfast for us everyday of our stay. The rooms were extremely clean and we'll kept. The bathrooms also were very clean and they even had some seperate facilities incase you needed hot water. It had a very homely feel and the host was very accommodative as well! I also feel the place is extremely affordable and about 10 mim walk away from the north cliff. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this stay to friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay at Shamak Homestay. We booked our stay just fifteen minutes before arriving, and the room was already prepared and waiting for us when we showed up. The guesthouse is lovely—clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We especially liked our room and the added bonus of a balcony. Our host, Anmol, was incredibly hospitable. He kindly sent us a list of restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area, arranged our transport to the airport, and even drove us to the ATM in Varkala Town when we ran out of cash during our visit. Breakfast is served 8:30-10:30am every morning and is always something different, which we appreciated. The location of the guesthouse is also excellent, just a 10-minute walk from North Cliff. We highly recommend staying here.

Our room was lovely, clean with a comfy bed. Hammock outside was great for relaxing. The location of the property was great, a short walk to the cliff and round the corner from a massage place. Anmol was a great host - very friendly and approachable and helped us with what we needed. The breakfast he made was very tasty. And the dog was a big plus.

The stay was amazing, the bestest I've been to so far. It was very clean, spacious, great ambience and art work by our host in each room. It was well maintained. Yummy food. It has many indoor games as well. Our stay was worth the money. Loved it, our experience with this stay was great.

We recently had pleasant and peaceful stay location at Shamak homestay and it's also close to the beach. The host Anmol was extremely welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. Room with a private balcony are beautiful. He even recommended us with places to visit, arranged a bike and auto for the commute quickly. And breakfast was just too yum.

The place es perfect, great vives, fabulous host. Very clean and spacious. Lots of cool art done by Amol. He is the cutest ever! We plan to return in the future for sure! Fantastic food too. We requested vegan with minimal oil and it was more than delicious!!
