We loved our stay at Kerala Cottage! The location was away from Varkala's hustle and bustle, and right on the beach, which we really liked. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good, with very attentive staff.

recently stayed at Kerala Cottage in Varkala and absolutely loved the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. Our 3-day stay was truly memorable, and I would definitely visit again — this time with family as well. The staff deserves a special mention for their polite, cooperative, and friendly nature. They were always available to help and made the stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. The ambience, hospitality, comfort, and location all come together perfectly here. If you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Varkala, Kerala Cottage is highly recommended!

The property is right in the cliffs with beautiful ocean views. Just far enough from the restaurants and shops to be tranquil, but close enough to hop on a tuk-tuk and be there in minutes! Walking distance from the beach (Odayam beach better for swimming than Papansam beach - current very strong here). Friendly staff and GREAT breakfast. Rooms are huge and have beautiful furniture. VERY good value for money. The strip with loads of restaurants and shops were a treat at night. Visit the Janardana Swamy temple - more than 2000 years old! Excellent yoga classes available in the area.
