Hotel Overview

Hotell Gästis is located in an 18th century building in Varberg, 400 metres from the Central Station. It offers rooms with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV and free wired internet access.
Each guest room at Gästis Hotell has a work desk and wooden floors.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily in the dining room, overlooking the park. Drinks, including beer, whiskey and a fine selection of wines, are served in the bar.
Guests can relax in the in-house Leninbadet Spa at an extra charge, which includes a hot tub, sauna and a replica of Lenin’s bath. Books and movies are available in the reception.
Varberg Fortress is a 5-minute walk away. Kallbadhuset Bathhouse is located 450 metres from the hotel.

“A bohemic and beautiful hotel in a central location”

A beautifully furnished hotel with a very personal and homely feeling. The roof terrace is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, all decorated in various themes with a number of "easter eggs" to discover. The bar and restaurant is nearby and the hotel is located right in the town center, with walking distance to the seafront and port area (it is a small town, after all). Parking is available nearby and the train station is right by the hotel.

Very characterful hotel with lots of charm. Very friendly staff. Well located at the edge of town with a short walk to the sea. Definitely would return.

Interior was different and made it very homely. We had room 19 with a little balcony overlooking a square. It was super nice!
