Gypsy Diaries, Varanasi – Budget Bliss with Boho Vibes! Staying here is like crashing at your artsy friend’s house—if they had a rooftop café, dreamy décor, and the Ganga a 2km walk away. For what you pay, it feels like a spiritual upgrade and a steal. Clean rooms? ✔️ Comfy beds? ✔️ Rooftop views that make you question city life? Double ✔️ Perfect for broke philosophers, chai lovers, and digital nomads pretending to write a book. Gypsy Diaries = maximum vibe, minimum spend. Your soul (and wallet) will feel lighter. 😄🛏️✨

The room was good for a short stay – had the basics and was comfortable enough. However, there was no extra space at all in the room, so it felt a bit cramped. The biggest issue was cleanliness, the property really needs some serious cleaning and better upkeep. That said, it’s a solid option if you’re on a tight budget. The location is a big plus, easy to find, well-connected, autos are easily available, and it’s accessible by car too. Not perfect, but decent for the price.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay at a fantastic price. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gypsy Diaries ! The staff treated me like family, and for that I consider them my brothers. Nitin, Sunu and the young boys made my stay in Varanasi as authentic and enjoyable as I could have hoped. They're genuine, helpful, fun and easy to talk with. They looked after me when I wasn't feeling the best, and they accommodated any last minute requests that I had. Memories and friendships were made in the afternoon over backyard cricket. Clean dorms and bathrooms. Spacious rooms with lockers and curtains. Terrace and social areas. Waterstation. Gypsy diaries is quite central everything is easy to get to. It's about a 15/20 min walk from Ganga and ghats. I had no issue with the walk. About 10/15 mins away from Varanasi station by tuk tuk. And about 10km away/ 25 min drive to Sarnath.

I stayed there for two nightsand it was lovely. The place is really clean, the rooms are nice and the beds have curtains. They really care about their guests and it was a good place to stay, close to the Varanasi Ghats but not in the middle of the tourists chaos. Thank you all so much for everything!!!
