The place is well located within the city. Staff (Abhay & Nitin) are friendly and know what customer service is all about. They tend to help you and cater to your needs. Knowledgeable about the locality and are willing to put their best foot to guide you when you are in Banaras. As they say, "Banaras is not for everyone but for the ones who know what to find when they are truly devoted to its beauty". Amazing stay & recommended to solo or couples!

I had a good experience in this place. The shared rooms are well equipped. They have two bathrooms; you have a space to leave your things in a safe place; each bed has a possibility to charge a mobile phone, a light and its own fan. Also, the air conditioning works very well. The place is very well located and you can reach the main points of Varanasi on foot in 20-25 minutes. There is also a large common area for sharing and playing. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Gypsy!

I stayed in the 8bed female dorm. Very comfortable with 2 toilets in the room! The common área is a very good place to chill and meet People! They also have a ping pong table and a nice rooftop! The staff is realy friendly! And one of them a very good ping pong player! Would definitely come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at gypsy diaries during my trip to Varanasi, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly staff (Nitin) who made the check-in process smooth and easy. The dorm rooms were clean, spacious, and well-organized. The common areas were fantastic—plenty of cozy spaces to relax, work, or meet fellow travelers.

Staff were very helpful. They upgraded me from a 14-bed mixed dorm to an 8-bed female dorm for free. A 20-minute walk from Dashashwamedh Ghat and a 40-minute walk from Assi Ghat, I like walking so this suited me well.
