The vibe was quite good as there were mostly backpackers who are doing long travels. It is the place to go if you wanna meet other travelers and make new friends. I befriended with Jess during my stay who was really nice and lovely and she was working part-time as a guest for Mad Monkey to organize activities.

If youre looking for a Party Hostel this is the place to stay at. However if you are not planning to get drunk every night it will be hard to sleep in the very noisy and warm dorms

The location is great. Its close enough to walk to the busy main part of vang vieng (circa 5-10 mins) but far enough for it to not feel on top of you. BEAUT view from the pool area. We had a private room and the bed was very comfy compared to most other hostels we have stayed in and our bathroom was also very clean.

Great location for pick-ups for activities. Social atmosphere at the bar every night with lots of events going on - really easy to meet people. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms with plenty of showers and toilets.
