You could not ask for a better location, friendlier staff, or bigger rooms. While this hotel looks rundown from the outside it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were so impressed with how big our room was, including a kitchen and bathroom, and an additional room we used for drying wet clothes after being outside. The staff were helpful in allowing us to exchange coins for the laundry. The bed was comfortable, the room warm (even in March), and great food places all around you if you don't want to cook. I don't know if there were many people staying here at the same time but it was quiet inside the building and couldn't hear people in adjoining rooms. This is an old, dated hotel but they were actively renovating rooms while we were there so there's definitely improvements being done

Very close to the water front. Clean room, friendly staffs, has basement paid carpark lots.

I've stayed here several times and it's always been great. It's quirky, quite vintage, but for the price it's the best in the area. Views over English Bay, always quiet despite being in the heart of everything there, very helpful staff and secure, gated parking with 24hr access. It is slightly dated, especially with the ovens supplied (2 stove tops didn't work and I stayed in a few different rooms and each room had different applicances or kitchen gadgets), however - again - for the price I would highly recommend as if I needed anything and asked they would always really try and help.
