Gary “Unique, grassroots hostel experience for amazing value”

This is a very grassroots hostel experience. If you want luxury, this may not be what you are looking for, but if you want a chilled out, friendly, interesting and artsy place with a sense of community and relaxed social scene, this could be the perfect spot. Thomas is a great host & very amenable. Our ferry came in late but our late arrival was not a problem. Thomas even offered to make us a bite to eat as we were hungry and we enjoyed some local wine and drinks from his bar. Accommodation was quiet and the hostel has beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was also fantastic and generous for the price for the cost of a nights stay. Fresh fruits, toast with homemade jam, large selection of coffee. We recommend and would stay again!

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, interesting travelers, simple accommodation for a good price. I stayed 8 nights and enjoyed it a lot.
