It's the third time I stayed at the Hôtel Baudouin in Valenciennes. I've always felt very comfortable, so this is the hotel I'm sticking with when I'm in town.

Very comfortable bed! Probably one of the best in our 3 week trip. Adjustable heating and windows actually opened for fresh air, rather than the 1cm gap normally in hotels. Hôtel had secure on site parking. Breakfast included, our room also had a fridge, though I’m not sure if these are in all rooms.

The room was spotless and everything was in good condition. Breakfast was great too. As a group of motorcyclists we particularly liked being able to put our bikes in the basement garage as they were secure there. The garden area was lovely.
