First of all, my review is based on a really specific experience that we had with the hotel. We were in 3 (parents and a 4 year old), and we had payed for a double room with an extra bed. We arrived at 1AM and, although the reception was closed, there was somebody there waiting for us to check in. To our surprise, instead of the double room we had payed for, we were placed in an apartment that could easily fit 6 people. Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, dining table and a huge balcony facing the beach. The queen size bed was extremely comfortable, and in the end the 3 of us slept together as my kid didn't want to sleep in a separate room (there was a not so comfortable foldable bed placed in the living room, but the nice and large sofa could also be used to sleep if we wanted to). Both showers had good pressure and temperature, and the AC was also good, even during the heatwave that we had when we were there. Having this room significantly improved our experience at the hotel. As we stayed there for one whole week, we were happy to be able to cook and eat at the apartment. The included breakfast was nice and well stocked, with a good variety of fruits, breads and cold cuts. I only wish they had natural juices. Everyone in the staff was super friendly. The proximity to the beach allowed us to really enjoy the place, which is perfect to go with kids. It's a calm and clean beach, and at the time we were there it had basically no waves or strong currents. The walkable street by the beach has multiple restaurants to chose from, some even with reasonable prices and good quality.

The location is superb, right on the beach. The apartment was clean, spacious and had all the basic amenities. I'm glad I've booked with El Coso, would definitely do it again.

Location is great. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Good transportation links into town.
