The hosts were so kind and welcoming despite the slight language barrier. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania and lots of it ready for my hike, they even woke up early so I could have breakfast before I set off. The view is incredible as well and such a cozy room.

Would absolutely recommend or stay here again! Such a cute place, incredibly welcoming hosts who made us feel very welcome with mountain tea on arrival and such a delicious and hearty dinner and breakfast!! We had done the hike from Theth to Valbonë and were very thankful we booked somewhere close to the end of the trail, to save another hours walk to the other end of town. Great shower pressure and hot water which we were very grateful for at the end of a hike. So peaceful sitting in the yard and staring at the mountains and watching the sunset, and enjoying the cat, dog, chickens, even a cow paid a visit at the front gate! People noted it is hard to find, I pinned the exact location on Google maps and we navigated quite easily to it. It is on the other side of the "river" from the main road, however there is no water in the river and places to cross it everywhere to get to the guest houses on the other side. There is a sign on the main road for Guest House Lazer Cardaku which you can follow and the place is next door. There is no sign at the entrance but there were people sitting out the front who we asked and they welcomed us in.

Guest house Ledio was clean, quiet and very well located for the walk from Valbonë to Theth. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided us with a delicious, well priced and very generous dinner and packed lunch. They also had extra blankets for us when it was cold at night and were willing to answer any questions we had despite the language barrier. The wifi was also strong which was a plus. We would definitely stay again.
