Four of us booked a room with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed for our ski trip. It's fantastic! The kitchen and grocery shuttle really meet our needs for breakfast and dinner. The shuttle between the ski resort and the hotel makes our trip even easier. Plus, the staff are so friendly! We also enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of skiing.

A relaxed, quirky hotel - very homely! We stayed in 306 where we had a full kitchen, comfortable bed, lounge area with fireplace and full bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff and drivers were all brilliant and cheerful. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and we saw cleaners in every inch of the building! In the lead up to Christmas lots of festive decorations were put up - something new appeared every day. Outdoor heated pool was lovely, as was jacuzzi. Easy to either use the free shuttle bus that Vail Run provides or the free bus stop outside the hotel to access Vail/Lionshead village - equally it is only a 15 minute walk across the pedestrian bridge which we mainly did in the evenings (would feel a lot longer in full ski gear!).

I booked a week in advance and they gave me a small studio with no balcony, I couldn't breathe as there was no air conditioning. My friend booked a room 12 hours before check-in and she was given a large studio with a balcony. We were refused to change the studio, only for +25 they wanted to move us to a 1 room.
