“Unique experience but poor communication”

We really enjoyed our stay at Monticle Glamps. The resort is beautiful and staying over a tea plantation is a unique experience. The glamps are luxuriously furnished and the staff take good care of the guests. A mixed or negative experience was the inadequate communication before entry. There was no response to my message via booking.com for several days. The email addresses on the website were invalid. I had to tell a friend in India to contact the accommodation by phone. Only then was I contacted via WhatsApp. A few days before my stay, I was asked to make a bank transfer. As a money transfer to India is associated with high additional costs for guests from Europe, I offered to pay for the stay in cash on site. The accommodation told me that credit card payment was not possible and even reported my card as invalid on booking.com (but it wasn't). When we arrived at the accommodation, we were told that we could either pay in cash or by credit card... Also the request to rate the resort but post no pictures is kinda strange. Why?? To be honest, I have to say that this experience spoiled what was otherwise a very pleasant stay even before it began. The operators of this resort have a homework assignment here where they can/must improve.

Excellent option in Vagamon. Firstly thanks to Mr. Unnikrishnan for guiding us to the property. My wife and I were welcomed with smiling faces. Gauri at reception and Anju at service were very courteous and helpful. Radhakrishnan the captain was also very helpfull. We had a wonderful vacation at this property. Monticle Glamps is a must visit. Especially since they are setting up new glamps with more amenities overlooking the valley.

The view from the glamps is amazing. The glamps are spacious and all amenities are maintained well. Breakfast was great with variety of options with local items as well
