It is a very charming hotel that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The staff take great care of their guests in a way that feels genuine. The room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The whole place has a cozy, homelike feel that adds a lot to the experience.

It is a small old fashioned building with lots of character- the sort of hotel we would prefer to stay in. Set in Ushuaia town near the seafront and easy to walk to. The staff were fabulous- little dining area- lovely old fashioned sitting area Fridge for our use- hot and cold water and tea and coffee always available We would certainly rebook here

What made this stay lovely for us was the amazing, friendly, kind service of the two young receptionists/duty managers Morena and Martina. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel really welcome. The hotel itself is in a great location, walking distance into the town centre and the local port. It has a warm and friendly lounge and dining room both of which have a view out to sea and across to Chile. Our bed was really comfortable and our room was a perfect temperature. The breakfast was great for us and Martina made us omelettes and scrambled eggs every morning accompanied by toasts, fruit, croissants etc. It is a very quaint, characterful and ramshackle little hotel, spotlessly clean although it could do with a good going over by a handyman fixing many odd little aspects such as broken towel rails etc.. We suspect all hotels central to the town face the same issue of noise at about 2am where a group of motorcyclists and motorists with noisy exhausts race around the town over and over for about 40 minutes or so. Be prepared to get used to that.
