This is a very welcoming and friendly place. There are six double bungalows made of thick basalt with a seating area in front. Across the sea is mount Pico, always a beautiful sight. On site are great facilities with full use of a well equipped kitchen including a washing machine in the large common room where breakfast is taken. Claudia puts the breadmakers on over night and there's a large fridge if you need it together with produce you can purchase. There are bicycles (no charge) and of course the animals, a very friendly donkey and goat who like cuddles. It took us several nights to work out who was making the ghostly sounds after sunset- loved it.

Very friendly and welcoming; beautiful location, attention to detail, spotlessly clean and environmentally friendly. Loved the communal area, freshly cooked bread and their own farm eggs for breakfast. Convenient to airport and ferries.

Super close to airport and the sea, great rooms and concept of communal kitchen! Great view as well. Close enough and far enough from the city.
