The place, the rooms, and the landscape speak for themselves: Diego has done an incredible job crafting something minimalist yet equipped with everything you could need. If you're looking to spend a few days away from hectic places, look no further. And then there's Diego himself, the host, who is an incredible, helpful, and genuinely interesting person. Getting to know him, learning about the territory and the local culture through long chats over breakfast and dinner (which I highly recommend booking, because he also happens to be a wonderful chef) was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Thank you so much, Diego, for allowing us to spend some time in your corner of the world.

Pampachayoq is simply stunning — a retreat nestled in the calming mountains of Maras, with breathtaking views over Moray and Urubamba. The setting is serene and restorative, surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes you could imagine. The retreat itself is beautifully decorated: simple yet stylish, with fantastic taste. It feels both cozy and homely, the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease. Diego, the host, is truly exceptional. Warm, friendly, and attentive, he made sure we had everything we needed — from giving us clear directions to preparing absolutely delicious meals. His cooking was a highlight of our stay. All in all, it was a wonderful experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of beauty. I can’t recommend Pampachayoc enough.

Our stay with Diego was amazing—the views were unforgettable, and the place was truly special. Diego is a fantastic cook! He also helped us organize a trek in the Valley. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend it, even for just one night!
