Beautiful lodge, we were treated like family by Baraka, Muksin and Katherine. Peter and Mamood took us for a lovely walking safari and guided us around coffee farms and fields and showed us all the plants and wildlife. Very clean and perfectly decorated rooms with a big ecological focus - solar powered and natural materials. Despite being surrounded by farms we did not see a single insect during our time there. We were very well looked after - lovely staff, welcome drinks as soon as we arrived, amazing food at the restaurant, breakfast with fresh fruits and beautiful views all around. Restaurant food was amazing - freshly prepared and ingredients are farmed locally or on site. We felt like having some banana crisps with drinks at dinner, despite it not being on the menu, we asked Baraka and he insisted it can be done and brought some freshly prepared for us 10 minutes later. - truly amazing. Every detail is there - every amenity you want is provided. We wished we could have stayed for a whole week but we will definitely be coming back

Catherine and Muksin the owners were brilliant. Before I got there Catherine sorted all tours for me and got back to me straight away with any questions. There were great to deal with when i got there. The room, meals and drinks were great. The tours to safari, pools and waterfall were great. Amazing view of Mt Kilimanjaro

Like - sustainability theme and focus, staff, food, room, view to Mount Kilimanjaro and overall “feel” of the place. Muksin, Baraka and Ayobo were absolutely sensational. Dislike - not much

When we arrived we where greeted by Catherine and Muxin they welcomed us with open arms. We had a long conversation of their vision of the accomodation. They want to take good care ofthe environment and stay small and personal. They want to know their guests. They showed us our room and it was more than amazing. Definitly worth booking, if you want to see the kili from your bed or bath. Kind regards Anne & Jeroen from The Netherlands
