King's Cottage is a delightfully and thoughtfully renovated cottage, built in 1886 in Uralla. It is within easy walking distance of the main street, but sufficiently removed to hear virtually no traffic noise. The property was spotless when we stayed, with high quality bed linen and towels, comfortable beds a luxury bathroom, and many thoughtful touches, to make our stay enjoyable - a range of condiments and even a couple of pizzas in the freezer for late arrivals, were examples of this. The host, Rod, was helpful and friendly. The garden is attractive and welcoming. Uralla has a variety of eating places, a small but reasonably stocked supermarket, and facilities such as a pharmacy, several bakeries and multiple antique outlets. It values and exhibits its heritage since the 1800s.

King's Cottage is an immaculate property. It is a tastefully restored historic home with modern facilities inside and a lovely garden outside. The cottage is warm and comfortable with all you would need to self-cater. I can't recommend this property highly enough.
