This was such a high end accomodation. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, doing daily cleans, bringing us juices each afternoon, and having a laundry service. We got upgraded rooms on arrival too, and the view was amazing! So close to the beach and a great spot in the street. The room and bathroom itself was beautiful, and the addition of a beach bag with towels and hats was great. I highly recommend staying at the Waves if you come to Unawatuna!

The staff and communication are amazing. The room is modern and well-decorated. Breakfast is excellent. The room is a sea-view room, not beachside. There's no lift for upstairs. But the staff is really helpful with this.

We are very happy with the stay in The Waves Unawatuna. The staff was very, very nice and fullfiled our every single wish. The room is very nice and very close to the beach. The location is fantastic. We also hot better room than se ordered! The stay here is fantastic! If you want to relax on the beach or if you want to explore, The Waves is a pláče to stay!

Everything was amazing! The rooms have everything you need and more. The beds are super comfortable – I slept better here than anywhere else in Sri Lanka. The staff are a solid 10/10: every day they offered me an upgrade room free of charge, complimentary fresh juice and water, and when I asked for a late check-out they were happy to accommodate me. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea with incredible views of the beach. I would definitely come back!
