Great value had everything you needed for a few days. Could make basic breakfasts, drinks etc .Comfy bed and pillows.Great having air conditioning and 2 bedrooms and showers were a bonus. Kind family, close to lots of nice areas and a shop/supermarket next door

I stayed one night at this place and it was very good. The owners are extremely helpful and kind, and they always spoke with a happy face. The room has a brand-new AC, so heat is not an issue at all. It’s super convenient for the beach (only 50 meters away), and you can even watch the beach from the room’s balcony :)

It’s a perfect place to stay! Great hospitality, it’s an amazing family where you feel like if you are at home. Bus stop is right next to the villa, also good food store and it’s very close to go to the turtle beach. Place has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms what is very comfortable. On a balcony it’s very nice to enjoy the view of the sea waves. Great place!

This place is an absolute gem, the apartment is really nice, bed is comfortable, it's clean and you have plenty of space for a more than fair price! But more importantly, this is a homestay in the most pure term, the family that own this place leave downstairs and they are the kindest and most sweet people we've met during our last months of travelling, they do everything to make you feel at home ❤️ If you come to Galle don't miss out and book at the Shiny Villa, you won't regret it!
