We had a wonderful stay at Aurora in Unawatuna. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very romantic — the best accommodation we stayed in during our entire tour of Sri Lanka. Everything was spotless, with great amenities including bathrobes, slippers, pool towels, plenty of hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, and a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The room design was stunning, especially the unique green bathtub. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

This is a truly perfect place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and in the most amazing gardens. It looks almost as spectacular at night when all lit up as it does in the day. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed, every facility you could wish for and an amazing open air shower. Monkeys play around in the trees outside the large verandah to our room and there are a complete myriad of birds to watch The staff are charming, helpful and provide wonderful service. The breakfast is superb and I cannot recommend the Aurora enough. It was everything I imagined a perfect hotel in Sri Lanka to be. There is also a great restaurant called the Sea Salt half way down the lane and a Wine Store at the end.

The staff were all wonderful and helped us setup massages at a nearby place, assist with booking a airport transit and decide on a restaurant for the evening. I was so impressed with the level of service.
