Peony cottage is on a direct route to walking paths. It is close to the Lakeside ferry service and there is a lovely swimming place called High Dam. The cottage has a spa, perfect after a long walk on the fells.

Nice close spot to the lakes. And to where I needed to get to for a meeting. Nice to have a hot tub after a day out.

Host thought of everything to make stay so comfortable. She was so welcoming to me and my girlfriend. They offered us a lift to local restaurant, Heft (would highly recommend!). She left presecco in the fridge for our arrival and enjoyed under the stars in the hottub. Thank you for everything.

The cottage is lovely. The hosts have thought of everything. Hot tub fab. Comfortable. Really good instructions for fire and oven.
