If you are looking to really decompress and detox in a quiet simple, wellness resort/ asharam, Asa Maia is absolutely worth it. It truly helped me to reconnect with myself and reclaim inner peace when I desperately needed it for me with yoga, contrast therapy (the 3mins ice plunge was definitely something) and breath work. The meals are simple but nourishing. The rooms are large, spacious and feel quiet, calming like being at home with nature.

Absolutely Magical! Where do I even begin? My stay at The Asa Maia in Uluwatu was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, my partner and I were embraced by the warmth and genuine hospitality of the incredible staff, who made me feel like part of their family. Every interaction was thoughtful, personal, and effortless, from breakfast by the poolside, to contrast therapy with the amazing teacher Daniela in the mornings. The facilities are five-star in every sense. The design is elegant yet grounded in nature, with every detail carefully curated to create an atmosphere of peace, luxury, and authenticity. The spa, the pool, the yoga shala, the sauna, everything is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and just so serene. We arrived as guests, but left as friends. I will absolutely be coming back – there’s nowhere else quite like it. If you’re considering it, book it. You won’t regret a single moment. Thank you Martha, Daniela and the rest of the team :)
