Typical wooden house and cosy rooms. Nice breakfast and the availabilty of a car port. In walking distance to all places in Ulrichen.

Old-charm hotel, located on the crossroads of major roads and biking paths leading to most challenging Swiss mountain passes. Very good breakfast

Came to do some cycling in the area, and needed a place to stay for a few nights. Hotel Nufenen was ideally located for this, at the foot of the Furka, Grimsel, and Nufenen Pass climbs, with terrific scenery and a water fountain just outside. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, I was able to dine here in the evenings and there was plenty on offer for breakfast. The room had a very cosy alpine feel to it, so I was very happy! Also had secure storage for bikes!
