The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. Very quiet environment. Very well equipped throughout. Good location for visiting York and other attractions.

It's such a beautiful setting! The cottage was just stunning and spacious! Lovely friendly and helpful owner, just an amazing stay all round! Will be booking again! The water was so soft and refreshing to have no limescale in it!!!! (So ignore any previous review regarding the water not being drinkable!!!) Mum couldn't stop drinking it, lol. We were all thrilled with the place/setting. We couldn't fault it. The kitchen facilities are well equipped, and the kitchen itself was humongous! The lounge area, again, was huge! We didn't get to use the log burner as the whole place was lovely and warm (we thought it had under floor heating!) Especially the first night we arrived it was so cold outside yet inside it was lovely and toasty!! The beds were so comfortable and we all slept better than at home! We loved being in the centre of the farm with the sights, sounds, and smells just ideal!!! All in all, we were glad to get back to the cottage each night, with having a difficult time dealing with a family issue during the days, it was like coming home to a retreat of peace and comfort. Thank you! P.S. i did take a video of the place, but i can't upload it, unfortunately. So, there are no other photos.

The self catering aspect. Spaciousness of the property - lovely! Country location. Being in the middle of a working farm suited us.
