Please note that a smart casual dress code applies after 19:30 for dinner time. This entails long trousers for the men. This means no jeans, t-shirts, running shoes or flip flops. Please note that only registered guests are allowed on the premises.Top Season: please note that bookings from December 19th up to and inclusive January 3rd can be confirmed only as follows :
1) If Client makes a 30% deposit within 14 days from date of booking if reservation is made by an East African Resident.
2) by Client sending copy of confirmed air ticket within 14 days of date of booking if reservation is made by overseas clients.Please note that during end of the year festivities, your stay might be disrupted by music from other hotels. The property apologises for the inconvenience.

I’ve stayed in well over 600 hotels in my life – from budget places to ultra-luxury resorts – but this one truly stands out. It was my first time in Kenya, and I couldn’t have imagined a better start: an absolutely perfect experience from the very beginning. The most remarkable aspect? The staff. Genuinely attentive, friendly, and helpful – it’s clear that everyone here truly wants guests to feel completely comfortable. Whether at the beach, in the restaurant, at the front desk, or in the garden – someone is always around with a warm smile, ready to assist. A special mention to Hamisi, the Guest Relations Manager, who consistently checked in and offered help in such a thoughtful way. The property itself is well-maintained, spotless, and spacious. You hardly run into other guests – ideal for true relaxation. The atmosphere is calm, and the entire place feels incredibly safe. Even in the evenings, guards discreetly keep an eye on the beachside without being intrusive. As for the often-mentioned beach boys – we had no issues whatsoever. Within the resort, you’re left in peace. The food was consistently excellent. The menu changes daily, which keeps things interesting, and any special request was met with a smile. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh pancakes, omelettes made to order, fresh fruits and juices – everything fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails were also fantastic, and even during the day on the beach, service was attentive and smooth. One very special aspect of this hotel: they deliberately choose not to accept tips and make this clear from the start. The idea behind it is simple – everyone contributes equally to the guest experience, whether it’s the waiter, room cleaner, gardener, or cook. And you feel that in every interaction. Everyone puts in effort, and it seems to come from a genuine place. That alone makes the experience stand out.

🌴 Ocean Village Club – A Serene Slice of Paradise 🌊 • ✨ Impeccable Service. Staff were an absolute delightful. Note - there’s no tipping involved at all as they get a shared bonus if the booking.com review is 10/10, so you find every member of staff from the gardener, cleaner, chef or waiter is a joy to be around. • 🏖️ white sands beach. View as you can see from the photos is out of a postcard. The reef just off shore breaks the waves so the water is completely flat and like a bath tub - warmest water I’ve ever been in. • 🛏️ Rooms. Fabulous - pristine and they make the bed twice a day. • 🍽️ Exquisite Culinary Experience: The dining options are diverse and delicious. You can get as many starters and mains and desserts from the a la carte menu as you would like. Lobster was served on multiple evenings… so naturally we had multiple lobsters mains at dinner. I think there must have been about 10 different sea food options through the course of the week, just sublime. • 🌿 Serene Adults-Only Atmosphere: As an adults-only resort, it provides a peaceful and romantic environment, ideal for couples seeking relaxation without the bustle of large groups or events… FYI that is not the case at most of the other hotels in Diani so it’s certainly a USP. • 🏊♂️ Pool & Gardens: The beautifully landscaped garden make the place more of a rainforest than a hotel, like you’re in the Amazon! So cool. well-maintained pool area offer a serene space to unwind, with ample sun loungers and shaded spots for comfort. • 🧘♀️ Wellness & Activities: massages were amazing and cheap. Somehow none of the reviews seem to mention there’s a tennis court and you get free lessons. We had lessons on 3 days at 7am before breakfast which was awesome - Thank you to our hotel tennis coach Hamisi! Can’t wait to start the new hobby when we’re back home. • 💰 Exceptional Value.

My friend and I shared a twin room; we loved it. The room was spacious and clean, airconditioning worked well, the bathroom was great, and the hotel is located right at the beach with lots of private beach chairs. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and was constantly cleaned from fallen leaves. Breakfast buffet was very good. Service was fantastic. Staff was super friendly and willing to help. I didn't see anyone working there who wasn't smiling. We loved our stay and will certainly be back. One additional thing to notice: although the location of the hotel is on the tropical beach, we experienced barely any mosquitos which was a super big plus for us.
