Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food (had dinner and breakfast), the portico and the surroundings were great. The host was the best. Really helpfull with everything we needed. Best host in Sri Lanka so far. Also the safari we booked through the hotel was amazing. The driver picked us up at the hotel and brought us back. Very good price of the safari, and the hotel is really cheap.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Avian Garden. The room was perfect, the garden beautiful and the three Sri Lankan breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. Usaj made sure we experienced very tasty Sri Lankan food. He arranged a Safari in the National Park with a local man who was very well informed concerning all the flora and fauna in the park. Avian Garden is in a discreet location, within easy walk of Udawalawe. As we walked by, the friendliness of the people in the nearby homes was very encouraging, as were the people in Udawalawe.

Very nice and quite place, owner is very friendly and helpful, we visited 2 nd time already. Close to the dam, elephant park to town, good location. Highly recommended

The host is nice. Big and clean room with a good A/C. The host arrange you a good driver for the safari.
