A Serene Getaway at The Ummed Palace , Udaipur Our recent stay at The Ummed Palace in Udaipur was a delightful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the villa offers a tranquil environment that immediately puts you at ease. The villa’s architecture beautifully blends traditional Rajasthani design with modern comforts. Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The garden area was a highlight, providing a perfect spot for morning tea and evening relaxation. The staff were courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Located just a short drive from Udaipur’s main attractions, including the City Palace and Lake Pichola, the villa serves as an excellent base for exploring the city. A Hidden Gem in Udaipur – A Hungarian Traveller’s Dream Escape As someone visiting India from Hungary for the very first time, The Ummed Palace in Udaipur was truly a magical find. Nestled amidst the lush Aravalli hills, this beautiful villa is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. The moment I entered the property, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. The architecture blends modern comfort with traditional Rajasthani charm, and the vast garden—sprawling over what feels like a small forest—was a peaceful haven for morning walks and quiet reflection. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, and I especially appreciated the functional kitchen, which allowed me to experiment with a few local dishes myself. The swimming pool was the highlight during Udaipur’s sunny afternoons—clean, cool, and absolutely refreshing. What truly sets this place apart, though, is its serene location—far from the city noise, yet close enough to explore the famous palaces, lakes, and markets of Udaipur. At night, under the stars, the silence was golden.
