a great villa retreat in the jungle away from the busyness of the centre yet still walking distance from everything you need. The staff were there 24/7 and always willing to help. Another great feature was the moped hire for 100K a day (about £4.50!) which made it convenient to explore wider parts of ubud. overall an idyllic stay.

A little jungle oasis. The pool was the highlight, loved waking up, taking a swim and listen to the birds! I've stayed 3 different places in Ubud in the past week, and this was definitely the best! For those who appreciate nature and a genuine feeling, this is the place. It's also a nice location as a first-timer in Ubud as it's in a cute street just off the high-street, where you can explore both the city centre as well as walk towards Penestanan which is also really nice. On the street, I loved the Indian restaurant (very good food), and story walks for co-working and smoothie bowls. The staff was also really lovely, and the place clean! Expect some insects as its an outdoor bathroom, but not much at all and also unavoidable in Bali anyways:)

Service and attention to detail by the service were great. We had a room with a big balcony, where we spent most of the time enjoying the garden and pool views. Breakfast was good, you could have it on the balcony as well. We chose to go to the restaurant area. The location in the centre of Ubud is a big plus - if you like the buzzing town. It is a few meters away from the roads so the hotel itself is very quiet.
