My husband & I were looking for a quiet, tranquil place, away from the crowd, immersed nature & with food so good that we wouldn’t have to go to Ubud for the week we planned to stay. Viceroy ticked all the boxes & more! We stayed in the Elephant Villa which was particularly stunning as it overlooked the valley with the river below. Everything was fantastic & smooth beginning from the time of making the booking, the welcome received in reception on arrival, the wonderful staff at the beautiful Cascade‘s restaurant & the immaculate housekeeping staff. We enjoyed every single meal at Cascades restaurant during our stay. Additional plus point is that their barista makes excellent a fantastic cuppa! Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made us feel welcomed & were very accommodating, especially Puttu, Shanti, Gung & all those who attended to us

As always . There’s only one word to describe the experience : PERFECT . Hard to explain the perfection of it you just need to go there, believe me Never we had better food , better service and better place

We liked everything about this hotel The room was beautiful and the private plunge pool was heated on request a real treat The service was excellent the food was varied and very good The aperitif fine dinning restaurant and lounge bar were sumptuous serving an excellent 5 or 7 course dinner The gardens were immaculately kept and we enjoyed looking around the kitchen garden Although expensive it was worth every penny and probably the best stay we have had anywhere in the world
