The homestay, which is 10 minutes from the monkey forest and shopping, was comfortable and clean. A breakfast included in the price was varied each day. When I felt sick, she brought me food to alleviate my symptoms.

This lovely homestay offers a warm, cozy experience with a Balinese family right in the heart of Ubud. It gives you a different perspective of staying in the center—one that feels grounded and deeply connected to local life. Across the way is a temple where the community actively practices and preserves its music and arts, adding to the authentic atmosphere. If you’re looking to live more like a local while still being close to everything, this is a wonderful choice. The room is spacious, clean, and excellent value for money, and for those who enjoy exploring, a beautiful paddy field is just a 10-minute walk away through charming little alleys. An amazing stay every time—I’m a returning customer and will gladly come back again.

The breakfast was great (varied everyday), the room and bathrooms were a very good size, very nice location - easy to get to the centre but also a little further from all the bustle, The staff were very kind and arranged a local kecak dance ticket for us. The bed was comfy. The porch outside the room is lovely.

Lovely stay at the Hidden Bali Inn. From the moment we arrived the family was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean and very relaxing in a traditional Balinese setting. The breakfast was very yummy and freshly prepared. It was a convenient location near the centre of Ubud.
