Everything!! Hot water and pressure was fantastic. Was extremely close walk to restaurants and coffee and shops, extremely relaxing and tucked away from the noise of the main road. Pool was clean and very inviting. Aircon was always a great bonus as my travel companion loved it.our host Surya was sent to us from the heavens above, guiding us all around ubud and it’s surrounded area. Waiting for us when we went shopping, sharing knowledge, he and his beautiful family were so caring and thoughtful, they truely made this stay at tegeswoodhouse a fabulous experience I will forever remember and be grateful for! A massive thank you

I liked the uniqueness of the wooden house, this is not a resort, you have to be self-managing and capable. It has stairs and a deep pool as well, probably only suitable for adults and children, who can swim and, who are supervised. I repeat it is not a resort, it is a basic home and I liked it, insects and all. We had mosquito nets around the bed and aircon in the bedroom. It was close to our family who did stay in a resort, close to the Laundry place too (really reasonable) right next door. I am grateful that there was water there for us, and the filter, used this no problems, really happy that both rooms had their own ensuite. For me not only was the price great for us two ladies travelling, but we could manage quite well, we ate out, we had breakfasts in, we went out and did tours, we stayed in, we went out and had massages, hair, whatever we wanted, it was an incredibly quiet sanctuary for us after the busy travel days doing stuff.

We spent wonderful 4 days at Villa Tegeswood and wish we stayed longer. The villa is a peaceful oasis 10 minutes drive from the bustling center of Ubud. The neighbourhood is quiet and 3 minutes away there are cafes where you can get a great breakfast or grocery stores. The villa is even more beautiful as shown on the photos. It is safe and calm and you can relax by the pool listening to birds' sounds. The best part of the accommodation is the host Surya, who picked us up late in the evening at the airport and took us to the villa and made sure everything was perfect. In addition, he drove us every day to Ubud and to see attractions such as Tegalalang rice fields and Kumulilir coffee site. Thank you Surya:)

The host was super kind and helpful. He took us around to beautiful places and made our stay extremely joyful. He even sat with our daughter so that we could do some water sports. A very trustful guy whom we can’t thank enough.
