If you’re looking for a place in Bali that feels like a dream surrounded by rice fields and rustic charm, Sari Wangi Cottage is a true gem. The beautifully crafted wooden cottages blend perfectly with nature, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. Waking up in middle of the Jungle near the rice fields feels magical, and evenings on the terrace are pure relaxation. What makes this place especially special is the owner, Manik. He is a truly kind-hearted person who loves sharing stories about Balinese culture. Every day, he walked through the property placing traditional offerings and making sure all guests were happy and comfortable. He genuinely cared that everything was to everyone’s satisfaction and gave us wonderful tips on where to go to discover the most beautiful sides of Bali. It’s not a luxury resort, but it’s authentic, peaceful, and full of warmth — an ideal retreat for anyone looking to experience true Balinese hospitality.

A rare hidden traditional Balinese gem away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The views were breathtaking also. The room was clean and very spacious. A bamboo paradise. Manik the owner of the property was very helpful and accomodating and full of wisdom. A genuine soul who even gave me a special elixir when I had Bali Belly. Absolutely adored my stay here and I came back to Sari Wangi Cottage twice for the peace and tranquility.

The cottage has wonderful garden with nice swimming pool! Very quiet and peaceful place. Nearby are restaurants and supermarket.
