This stay is absolutely fabulous! Gun was an absolute gem and made us feel special and so well taken care of! We especially loved the breakfast served straight to the room and the shuttle service that will take you to town whenever you're ready. Everyone at Motama was so friendly and the stay is so peaceful, calm luxurious and we can only recommend coming here! Unfortunately we only had 1 night, but we would have loved to stay longer and hopefully we will be able to come back one day :) Thank you to Gun and the lovely team

Amazing and quiet place. We were the only occupied villa out of the three during our stay (start of low rainy season). It didn’t rain during our stay at all. The private pool was very nice with view of a rice field, and there were two huge bedrooms with built ins which were ideal for our family. Property was secure. The staff was amazing as well. They were courteous, prepared excellent breakfast which was also amazing! Lots of mineral water bottles provided with new ones every day. Minibar had chocs and nibbles. The property is about 10 mins away from central Ubud, but they have ON DEMAND shuttle service! You must whatsapp them on their customer service number or walk up to the counter. A driver will take you and drop off and later pick up anywhere on the route of main roads from Motama like Monkey Forest Road, etc, or you can get dropped off at central market. Please tip the drivers a little as shuttle is on demand. If you don’t its alright they dont ask for it. If you want good coffee, you can walk to Home Cafe (10 mins away) for Aussie style coffee. Feel the local vibe during your walk! We ate at Sanada Cafe which was nice. Had ice cream at Monimo on Monkey Forest Road. We didnt go to Monkey Forest but did other activities like Visits to temples like Empul and Goa Gajah historial temples. Learn the local hindu culture as unlike rest of Indonesia, Bali is predominantly Hindu and have unique culture with lots of ceremonies. Muslim and Hindu culture is well respected here.
