Being down a long laneway we were well away from the chaos of Monkey Forest Road but close to every amenity- shops, spas, restaurants etc. The staff were really lovely and were very vigilant in getting rid of the monkeys that visited every morning.

Super-friendly staff, good location - good base from which to explore Ubud and surrounding area. Relaxing environment. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. Firm bed. Acid test: would I return if I were in the area? Definitely Yes.

We had a great stay right in the city centre, close to lively streets full of restaurants and massage places, and just 5 minutes from Monkey Forest as well as Ubud Palace and Market. The place was very clean, with four different kinds of breakfast and delicious typical juices. The family lives in the same set of little buildings, with beautiful offerings all around, which gave an authentic touch. At night you can hear some music from the city, but it didn’t bother us much. Our kids loved learning how to make offering boxes in the morning with the grandmother, and we all enjoyed the nice swimming pool.
