I am a fan of the In Da Lodge, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, lovely breakfast. But I prefer the private rooms or the old dorm rooms there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge! The breakfast is basic but good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s clean which I personally find very important. I was initially a bit hesitant about that, since I had read in some older negative reviews (from about a year ago) that there were mice. But I think they’ve solved that by “hiring” a few cats. The only time I saw a mouse was just outside the accommodation, dead in the mouth of one of the cats so that seems to be working well. I stayed for a total of 12 days in a private room. It was a very nice room with a closed-off, brand-new bathroom, which is especially great for someone with a cockroach phobia 🤭
