The villa is so lovely.away from the hassle and bustle of Ubud but only a 5minutes ride to town . there is only one villa .so very private. The view was fantastic. We were able to watch the rice fields. Nick the owner helped with renting a bike . The breakfast was served at the villa every morning. It was delicious and different every morning. We will definitely stay here again. We come a lot to Bali and Ikan villa is number 1 for us .

The stay at Ikan was incredible. It exceeded all our expectations and I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking a relaxed, authentic stay, but still close enough to Ubud to enjoy it, but most importantly, avoid the hectic rush and traffic of central Ubud. The room itself would be ideal for a short stay but has enough amenities that you could stay for long periods. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are great, the bedroom is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Overall the facilities are fantastic. The views are incredible of the farmers and the rice paddies, an ideal getaway from the saturated 'hectic-ness' of central Ubud. Also, down the road is an amazing award winning coffee bar, well worth a visit. The last and most important point would the hosts. They made this stay absolutely perfect. They are incredibly attentive, caring and friendly and want to ensure you have the best stay possible. Everything was above and beyond, from arrival tea and daily coffee, to surprise flowers and young coconuts, and an amazing daily breakfast. They have three friendly dogs, of which Jimmy is a big fan of kisses, cuddles, and licks after long days exploring the area. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to any couples or individuals wanting a personalised, authentic experience.
