We loved the attention to our needs & Didi being so accessible. The massive ultra king bed was fabulous to stretch out in then snuggle up later. Most people would say no TV was a down side but to us it was a blessing. We read books, relaxed & lazed in the pool. The walk along the canals had us finding new people to meet & learn from. Simple yet yummy breakfasts prepared daily. This property is for someone that wants to escape but still be connected. Highly recommended that if you choose to stay with this property & need airport transfers, tours etc it’s amazing one stop shop without all the plus plus expectations. Close to many amenities including supermarkets, regional & western foods.

The private pool was amazing. Also that you have the whole property for yourself is very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, a lot of fruit, and they even made breakfast very early when we had an activity to go to. We arranged transport via them at a great price and we had great conversations on the way to our next location. He had some nice suggestions to do on the way but was not pushy when we said we preferred to go directly to our next stay! There are some folders and information for suggested tours and activities. Also for a service that can arrange an amazing massage at Dedik house for great price! It is a bit of a walk to Ubud centre (20-25 minutes) and when we were staying there traffic was really bad so taking a taxi into town did not work out. On the way back it is possible however. But in reality, you do not actually want to go to the center: the neighbourhood of the homestay is great with very nice restaurants.
