We loved the location and pool area. The staff were helpful, happy and friendly- couldn’t do enough for you. In the centre of Ubud close to every thing but in a quiet location away from the main road. Great facilities the cafe was lovely for breakfast drinks and other food. Great value for money. Spotlessly clean and lovely touches like bed turn down at night and fruit basket. Helpful driver Kadek who provided excellent trips and great knowledge of location around Ubud.

I love this little place. Very old Bali, old style room but clean and spacious. Pool is great with no-one really using it, although nicer pool cushions would be welcomed. The staff here are wonderful, I got turn down service every night and a little fruit platter at the end of my stay. Location is unbeatable, quiet but central. Cheap and cheerful! I always stay here when I come to Ubud.

Very tranquil and serene despite being so close to the centre. We absolutely loved our time at Batu Empug and would recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for good accommodation.
