I slept really well, my partner not so much (mattress a little firm for her,although she has had back surgery some time ago). Breakfast was fabulous, I'm a coeliac, asked for a cooked breakfast, couldn't have thier sausages, i said just ask chef to put me what he can out, obviously toast must G/F . I throughly enjoyed it, the exra bacon far made up for lack of sausages. Staff we're very helpful in that we we're early for check in, but took our bag to our room, gave us the room keys & showed fire exits etc. (We couldn't check in later as we we're attending a wedding & reception straight afterwards.

Nice big rooms with air conditioning which although old was working well. Good food if a little limited menu.

Comfortable period property, with all that entails - such as steps, sloping floors etc. Air conditioning in our room (7) was superb. Very quiet and effective.
