Very welcoming and helpful reception by the host who contacted us on the day of arrival about getting the keys. The apartment is modern but within a typical house for the area. It's large, with a huge main bedroom with lots of wardrobe space and the bathroom is very big with a great walk-in shower. The second bedroom is off the main bedroom so best for families with children but as we were just one couple, it was fine. Comfortable seating area and well equipped kitchen. Yes, you can hear movement in the upstairs apartment now and then but there is absolutely no noise from the street, and it is very well located for the shops, cafes and restaurants in Turckheim. One bakery is about 50m away but Patisserie Carl, a bit further along, has the best croissants anywhere! Free parking on the street close by. We would come again.
