Trailhead did a great job renovating the motel into a more boutique feel. Rooms felt cozy & beds were comfortable. I love the communal feel of the motel. Sitting outside in the evening and watching the kids swim was really lovely. The coffee/tea kitchenette with a water bottle refill station was great. The front lobby was well decorated, and the very moody feel with soft music playing was a nice touch. Even though there's not always someone on-site, it was relatively easy to contact someone for help with a small issue I had. We went to Tupper Lake to visit The Wild Center, which is a few minutes away from Trailhead, so that was lovely. The kids and I had a great stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our kids. Our stay was made as easygoing as possible. Check in - automatically sent doors key, breakfast- grab and go (cereals + milk; coffe, juice, bars, donut). Nice interior.
