The view! We had a king size bed/ lakeside room, with a balcony which really was exceptional! To wake up, draw the curtains and be quite literally on Lake Toba in a very clean, spacious room, with a brilliant hot shower + complimentary toiletries was dreamy. The owner was a lovely chap, extremely knowledgeable about Indonesia just generally so very helpful indeed. The location we thought was the best on the island, in terms of restaurants around, views of the lake and with a moped, you could explore the island then come back to base to be walking distance of everything.

The views here are incredible and the big window made an amazing wake up! The beds were super comfy, and we loved the balcony.

The room had a direct view on the lake. Very nice! It’s close to many restaurants and small shops. Quiet location.
