Everything and everyone at Kokoa Sands exceeded our expectations! After a warm welcome by Jean Michel and Perle, we've been made comfortable with the facilities and the beach area. The beach is simply a paradise on its own, just wow! You can relax and enjoy the splendid colours of the ocean or go for a beautiful beach walk. The food menu at Kokoa changes every day, and the cook...absolutely phenomenal. Forget everything you have tried so far in Madagascar and enjoy the cuisine at K. Sands. Our bungalow was well equipped and beautifully decorated, wild, wodden, and perfectly matching our taste. Jean Michel was always around and looked for our wellbeing. We appreciate the long chats, the stories about Kokoa Sands, and the engagement in the local community. The place is a paradise, but the owners make the overall experience just unforgettable. We had an excellent stay at this apartment. The owner is very nice and welcoming, always ready to help with anything needed. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The food was truly excellent — fresh, tasty, and beyond expectations. The location is quiet and pleasant, offering a nice and somewhat remote setting that makes it perfect for relaxation. Overall, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Best beach in the area for swimming and walking, very beautiful and pristine, nearly no people. I believe this is one of the rare pristine spots left where you can feel the luxury of amazing nature, views and tropical paradise feeling. The hotel concept is making guest feel like at home, with accommodation and cuisine of high quality and very relaxing vibe. Everything is created and arranged and run the way I felt super comfortable and really resting. Amazing sunsets and beach views, very beautiful and clean sea, finest sand without stones or sea urchins. Jean-Michel and Perle the owners surround guests with enough and gentle care, the cooking team makes very nice lunches and dinner, where you can pre-order from choice of two dishes. Breakfast is nice as well, and you can always choose what would you like to have. In 4 days stay every meal was super delicious and interesting, with local and Malagasy cooking mixed in chefs creation. First day we stayed in Forest side house that is very clean and authentic, later we moved to Beachfront Villa that is pretty luxury with large bedroom, bathroom and terrace overlooking the sea. An extra discovery was visiting the spiny forest reserve that is being taken care of by Kokoa Sands, with Baobab trees and other plants growing in their original state - I would recommend this to everyone. For the evening or day, you can always order nice cocktails with natural tropical fruits, and the wine selection is great.

Kokoa Sands is by the Ankasy beach! The owners are very accommodating, friendly and always willing to help. The food was delicious, made with care. They even make their own sorbet ice cream. Kokoa Sands is a wonderful family business that will make every possible way to make your holidays as enjoyable as they can! It was very much appreciated that they cared for me when I got a bit of cold/ sore throat. What touched me that most is that the owners (this lovely couple) support their local community by providing a teacher for a month to the local village since the children have very limited opportunities for education. I was also informed that they provide rice to locals when there times of starvation. Last but not least, they protect their local Baobab park. In terms of entertainment, I did snokerlling and I visited the Fasika Be! I loved both activities! I wish I could stay for longer. I would definitely recommend Kokoa Sands to anyone.
